In 1920, his son Louis Reynaud took the initiative and bottled Rayas wine with an eye to local and national distribution. It was in 1935-38 that Louis purchased Sarrians-based Domaine des Tours, an agricultural and mixed farming property, placing his son Bertrand at the helm. In 1945, Louis also acquired Château de Fonsalette, in the north of Orange, in the commune of Lagarde-Paréol, a property boasting a dozen or so hectares of vines, woodland and olive trees.
